In Denver, we are not just lucky to have a thriving culinary scene, but also a variety of foodies, chefs, and culinary experts who reside in the city. To celebrate women’s history month this March, we want to highlight the incredible women and their accomplishments in our panel beginning on the official International Women’s Day. Allyson Reedy

Food Writer

Allyson joins our panel with a knack for finding amazing local eateries and putting words to the experience through her work as a freelance writer. Some of her favorite spots in Denver (as of late) are The Greenwich for their iconic cheesecake and Forget Me Not for an evening cocktail. If you want more inspo and some amazing “camera eats first” photos of drool-worthy dishes, head over to her Instagram @allysoneatsden for more recommendations around Denver.

Beth Gruitch

Crafted Concepts LLC

You might know Beth through one of her multiple renowned restaurants in Denver: Rioja, Bistro Vendôme, Stoic & Genuine, or Ultreia. She’s a Colorado native who returned home after years in the culinary scenes of Las Vegas and Chicago and has made quite a splash in the food scene since. Beth also achieved a level-one sommelier certification and serves on the executive board of Denver Civic Ventures at the Downtown Denver Partnership and EatDenver. Her culinary and charitable contributions to Denver are immense and we’re grateful for her contributions to our panel as well!

Bre Phippen

Bites with Bre

Bre (Patterson) Phippen is the author of Denver Food Crawls: Touring the Neighborhood One Bite and Libation at a Time and runs a blog “Bites with Bre,” that highlights the Denver food scene. We’re fortunate to have Bre share her foodie expertise with us, especially as she was just listed as a Top 30 Foodie in Soeleish. If you’re wondering what spots she’s currently loving, check out Mighty Burger and place an order of their cheese curds!

Caitlin Howington

Pints Peak Ice Cream

Any well-versed ice cream lover will know of Pint’s Peak – and if not, go order a pint asap! – and we have the privilege of the founder and dessert guru herself being on our panel. Caitlin, a formally trained pastry chef with over 15 years experience, created Pint’s Peak after being laid off during Covid, which is women owned and operated and a great place to support this month. If you’re going out for dinner before a pint, Caitlin recently shouted out Mister Oso and Safta as two of her favorite 2022 restaurants.

Carrie Baird

Culinary Creative Group

Chef Carrie Baird is not just known and loved in Denver, but has also become a household name from her impressive showings on Bravo’s “Top Chef” and Food Network’s “Beat Bobby Flay.” Beyond her television acclaim, she has also won awards for her work as Executive Chef at Bar Dough. To taste some of her current work, stop by Tap and Burger or mark your calendars to visit her upcoming breakfast concept, Fox and The Hen, coming in April.
