Food trucks have become famous for chefs to share their culinary visions with an ever-widening audience, and the Food Network has noticed. Their new show, "Food Truck Prize Fight," premiered recently, pitting three food trucks in Denver against each other in a competition to find the best one.

Food Network recently hit the streets of Denver for their new show, “Food Truck Prize Fight.”  The pilot episode premiered on Wednesday, pitting three Denver food trucks against each other in a savory competition.

Mukja Korean Fusion triumphed over competitors Kavi’s Hibachi and El Taco Bron in the debut episode. The trucks were tested on their cooking skills and financial management acumen throughout the challenges, which included stops at Union Station and Rice Brewing. Ultimately, Mukja’s Korean fusion cuisine won over the judges and customers, earning them a $10,000 cash prize and an exclusive opportunity to be the sole vendor for an event at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Mukja is familiar to the Denver food scene, as their Korean fried chicken and signature zucchini pickles have already earned them a loyal following amongst Denver’s foodies. Winning the “Food Truck Prize Fight” is a well-deserved accolade for the team.

The show highlights the power and versatility of the humble food truck, providing chefs with a mobile platform to showcase their creativity while competing in a quickly expanding and competitive food industry. You can catch more cities and food trucks competing in upcoming “Food Truck Prize Fight” episodes, but Denver’s Mukja Korean Fusion reigns supreme for now!
