Let’s face it, kids are expensive, so save some money and have some fun at these restaurants where kids eat for free. From pasta to pizza to tacos, Denver and the metro area have plenty of options for any appetite. Check the times and days, and make sure to buy an adult-sized entree, and you can save big on eating out.

Don’t over think dinner, the kids’ menu here keeps the meal simple with a bowl of bowtie pasta served how they like it. Think marinara, alfredo, or olive oil and parmesan. There’s also the child-sized pizza topped with just cheese, pepperoni, or one veggie topping. All of this is free on Monday nights from 4 to 9 p.m.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse serves kid-friendly classics like mini cheeseburgers, fried chicken, Lil’ Dillo steak bites, hot dogs, grilled chicken, and more every day. While the exact day changes based on location (contact your local Texas Roadhouse for details), most kids-eat-free deals happen Monday or Tuesday.

Rocky Mountain Tap & Garden

Every Monday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m., kids eat free with the purchase of an adult entrée. The menu runs pretty standard, with fish and chips, mini burgers, and grilled cheese, each served with a drink and veggies.

Tuesdays

Tap & Burger

One of the best things about eating at one of the Tap & Burger locations on Tuesdays is that kids eat free. Choose from classics such as sliders, chicken tenders, and grilled cheese. Each meal comes with fries, two Oreos, fresh veggies, and a drink. Plus, each kid gets crayons and a puzzle menu to occupy them.

Lil Ricci’s NY Pizza & Pasta

On Wednesdays kids eat free at this Boulder brew pub. Normally the dishes run $5.95 each, with options such as a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, sliders, or mini corn dogs. Each meal comes with a side of tater tots, raw veggies with ranch, or applesauce.

Charming and simple, this German eatery does a kids eat free deal every Thursday, all you have to do is ask for it. Think pork or chicken schnitzel, fried fish with taters, kase spatzle, and traditional German hot dogs. Each kids’ meal comes with a side such as grilled tomato with cheese, fries, rice, and sauerkraut.

From mac and cheese to chicken tenders to fruit, veggies, and desserts, there’s something for every kind of eater. To keep it simple most of the meat comes in sandwich form, and protein options include beef brisket, pulled pork, chicken, hot links, or or just cheese. There’s also a two-rib meal with a side and drink on the kids’ menu.

On Monday nights from 4 to 10 p.m. kids eat free and get to enjoy free balloon twisting 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Oneida Park restaurant.
